Frequently asked questions

How do I know if you are the right therapist for me?

If you are unsure whether I am the right therapist for you, then we can meet online free of charge so that we can discuss what you are looking for and whether I am the right therapist for you. I believe that it is very important that you feel comfortable with your therapist, so I highly recommend getting in touch so that you can determine whether we are a good fit.

What happens next?

If you decide you would like to work with me we will book an initial consultation session. Prior to this session, I will send you a contract that you will need to read and sign. At the end of our initial consultation, you should have a clear idea of what you would like to achieve within our sessions and have a better understanding how we will work together.

How many sessions will I need?

It varies greatly depending on each client. But I would recommend 6-8 sessions to start with and then we will do a review to see how things are going and you will decide how you would like to move forward. I would also recommend meeting weekly to start with, and then we can look at spreading the sessions more later on.

Where do we meet?

For individuals living in Jersey, Channel Islands I have an office space on 71 King Street, above the Harriet and Rose shop which is where our sessions will take place. But I also offer all my sessions online, so no matter where you live, you can get in touch.

What happens if I need to change my appointment?

I understand that things happen and often we may need to rearrange appointments. However, I do ask that you give me at least 24 hours notice so that I can allocate the time to someone else. If you do not let me know within the 24 hours or if you don’t turn up to our appointment a 50% charge will be taken for the session.

What do you charge?

A single session is £75. You can also block book sessions at a discounted rate.
